Anderson Silva Throws The Steven Segal Style Front Kick (LOL)

UFC 126

Anderson Silva throws a front kick that is heard  all around the world.  A basic karate kick that became over night a God kick, never seen before kick in mma or karate with such devastating knock out power.   There are to many reasons to explain why you have never seen this particular kick work but what i am going to do is tell you why it did work.  It is simple if you replay the fight you will see that Vitor gave  up as much of a fight as a crash test dummy.  I have never seen some one who stood up so straight and fought so linear as Belfort.  It was like he was waiting for him to kick him in the face and knock him out.  He gave that fight to Silva.  Silva would have never gotten away with that in k1 fighting.  Peter Arts and the rest of the k1 fighters from Holland they would destroy Anderson Silva, but that would never happen because that would not be in Dana Whites best interest to have his fighter try his foolishness with real world class fighters k1 type.  Anderson looks so good because he is facing fighters that are simply not that good.   When he did face some one with talent in the likes of  Chael Sonnen he got his ass handed to him.   Now you have the front kick being the new God strike.  Now  Anderson Silva praising  Steven Seagal for his knowledge and mastery of the front kick done the Seagal way.  Steven Seagal one week subtle speaking martial arts master,  the next week southern speaking New Orleans cop.  Where does this hipocracy end?  Somebody should take a hard look at the ufc before it becomes a parody of itself, it does have the potential to take over the world fighting stage.  As fast as it has risen it can fall.. don’t forget it was very popular once before, then failed, then was taken over by Dana White and company and remodeled, no matter what the momentum no matter how many followers it can change at the drop of a dime.  Just ask at a ufc event who Don King is.  The answer will probably be,  WHO????

UFC 126

The February 5th fight between Ryan Bader and Jon Bones Jones is truly going to be a test of personal resolve.  Each fighter is a young lion, each has a particular set of skills, and both are extremely powerful.   Most will say the one that wants it the most will win.  That statement is the biggest nonsense.. they both want to win… that is a given.  Neither one of them has trained to come to the fight to lose.  It comes down to one thing and one thing only. Who can impose there skills on the other.  Ryan Bader is a powerful wrestler and striker, he can slam in to you like a freight train or strike you like a sledge hammer.  He truly is going to be a test for Jon Bones Jones, in those areas.  Jon Jones is a very adroit fighter. He is so clever at using  his skill sets he can be a problem for any fighter.  How do you find somebody to train with that has a similar fighting  style. His is so unique it is all most like you would have to guess,  and guessing is not a good strategy  against a fighter like Jones.  Personally my humble opinion is that Jon Jones has some thing that other fighters of his level don’t have which is a technique and style of his own,  and a faith in himself  that it is his time of winning. The fight will not make it past the third round.  Jones  takes the win….

UFC 126

Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort are scheduled to fight on Feb. the 5th.  This is the fight, where I  believe Anderson the Spider Silva’s fighting career is going to change for ever.  No matter how hard he has trained, no matter how hard he has focused, in the back of his mind he is being haunted at night before he goes to sleep that he has been found out… that he is not a fighting God, or that he is super human.  Chael Sonnen has proved that with constant pressure and fierce technique combined with lack of any kind of visible respect for Anderson Silva’s  fighting ability, he proved that he is just a man.  Not only a man, but a man that can be beaten.  No longer will fighters walk in to the ring defeated before they have even thrown one punch, out of fear of this mma sorcerer.  Now that fear, the one true thing that the spider had, has vanished.  Make no mistake about it,  Anderson Silva is a very talented fighter, but he reminds me of another fighter that instilled fear in the heart’s of men at the mere mention of his name, Iron Mike Tyson.  Their careers are very much a like in the sense, they both possessed excellent  fighting skill’s.  But where they really compare is to who they fought.  Men that where to early in there careers, not ready for the challenge, or had been in way to many battles and did not have enough left in them to make a good showing.  When someone came a long that was ready and that could fight and saw clearly a big hole in there game, Buster Douglas and Chael Sonnen, one career was ended and the way I see it, another coming to an end.  I suspect Vitor has an excellent window of opportunity to win if the Belfort of old  shows up and then it will be his time.  A well deserved time of victory…
